Lakeside Diving Centre makes a splash on the lake!

Lakeside Diving & Watersports Centre is now making waves as it opens the pontoon on The Boardwalk for business.

The Lakeside Diving and Watersports Centre has just got even better, with a range of exciting new equipment and activities!

Try your hand at the fabulous new 'Waterballs' sensation that's sweeping the nation - that allow you to climb inside a ball and literally walk on water! Or take an exciting ride on the new 8-seater banana boat - a summer activity all the family can enjoy.

Or if you like something a little more 'hardcore', why not take a spin on their brand new 'Desert Busters' - round, flat discs (hold 2 people) that skim you across the lake.

Fancy a relax in the sun, why not take out one of their Lakeside swan pedalos for a sail. Or if you're looking for more of a workout, you can take one of our their rowing boats for a spin. The rowing boats are all new Tabrum boats, meaning they're completely unsinkable!

Miss England to officially open Carlton’s new store

Tuesday 2nd September, 3pm-6pm

Lakeside Shopping Centre will be the home to Carlton’s latest new store. The official store opening will be on Tuesday 2nd September, 3pm to 6pm.

Carlton, the official luggage sponsor of Miss England 2008, have organised for the winner of the competition, Laura Coleman to officially opening the store at 4pm. Laura will then be available for autographs and pictures until 6pm.

The Thurrock store will showcase all the latest luggage ranges in an impressive glass frontage shop on Level 2.

The new Carlton store is situated on Level 2 opposite Debenhams.

Sir Cliff Richard Book Signing at Lakeside

Lakeside is proud to announce that the one and only Cliff Richard will be signing copies of his new autobiography, "My Life, My Way" in the Central Atrium on Level 1.

Visit Lakeside on Friday 5 September, 12.30pm-1.30pm to get your book (bought from WH Smith) signed by the legend himself.
